It was such a joy to work with Pro Machina and the Oscar award-winning father of practical effects, Alec Gillis, on this thrilling and equally heart-wrenching sci-fi film.
Everything you see in this film is real. Let that sink in for a moment. Hand-painted, hand-crafted, tactile set pieces and creatures. All these incredible practical effects were created by hand from the minds of Alec Gillis, Camille Balsamo, Reid Collums, and their amazing teams.
