"Book of Names" Update
I have some very exciting news to share! Book of Names, the show I had the pleasure of working on back in April at my alma mater, officially has it’s first full rough cut. I was able to sneak a few photos in of what they have so far, and I think it’s going to be something really special.
Stay tuned for more news regarding Book of Names, and for the link to screen this play-film hybrid on a computer near you!
Beardsley Zoo Reading Hour - Part II
If you happen to have some young ones at home, then this is the news post for you! I had the opportunity to record readings of a few books for Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo. Due to Covid-19, the readings are pre-recorded and virtual for now, but hopefully in the future I will be able to lend my voice to an in person story hour in their beautiful farmyard space.
If you want to tun into the second book in my reading series please follow the Beardsley Zoo’s Facebook page, linked in the button below, and keep and eye out for yours truly’s face!
"Cocoa" The Film
Something very exciting is on the horizon…. Cocoa is a feature film written by Jody Mortara, that I have the pleasure of both acting in as well as producing. We will be commencing our film shoot this September in and around NYC. I can’t say much just yet, but heres a little sneak peek to tide you over…
“Two very different sisters needing to remake themselves, one from a moral dilemma and the other from a bitter divorce, create and market a chocolate cake that makes you lose weight. But, during the funding ‘pitch’ party, they inadvertently kill their investor’s dog which sets off a 24 hour city-wide chase beginning with Dr. Dogwood, the eccentric vet with a ‘potion’, an encounter a bumbling terrorist, the attention of an up and coming field reporter who sees this as her shot at fame, and finding they have somehow gained the interest of mob boss Carmine Frangiolini and his opportunistic family friend, Lucas Morello, who “want to make them an offer they cannot refuse”. Somehow, through this ordeal, these two displaced sisters find themselves, create a national franchise and find they actually aren’t so different after all.”
"Moving to Quebec" Staged Reading
I am very excited to announce that I will be playing the role of Noelle in the upcoming reading of Moving to Quebec by Julian Bliss. This play is an emotionally gripping, comedy-drama that follows a group of college friends who, after losing touch since graduation, are reunited when they receive an invitation to a “going away party” from their eccentric friend Landon.
Noelle is the “Masha-like” friend, quick-witted and snarky, she is often the straight man to the absurdity of the group’s antics. She has a cynical outlook on the world, which she combats through heavy drinking and smoking, but proves immensely wise and resourceful when her friends are in crisis.
We will be recording a reading of the play at the end of August for the public to view, in hopes of staging a full production in NYC in the coming months. Keep your eyes peeled here for more information, including how you can eventually watch the reading of this killer play.

Upcoming - Sweet Pea & Glass
Next up on the docket is Sweet Pea & Glass an action, heist comic book inspired comedy that follows two female operatives on a mission to prove themselves and to cement their place as part of “The Suits”. I can’t tell you much more than that, but I can tell you that you are in for some epic comic book action sequences, girl power to the max, and some ass-kicking.
Stay tuned for more information in the coming weeks, we begin filming this weekend and I can’t wait to share more about this incredible process with you. If you want to follow along with us, click the button below for the Sweet Pea & Glass Instagram page.
Greens Farms Academy Blog Post - "Book of Names"
I was approached by my alma mater, Greens Farms Academy, to do an interview about my time working with the students on Book of Names this Spring. It was such a gift to be a part of this piece, and what an amazing way to get back on an actual stage after a year of virtual performances and distancing ourselves from each other.
If you feel so inclined, please give it a read. It perfectly encapsulates my time with the GFA Theatre program this past Spring. Interview is linked in the button below.

"Coquille" Shoot
This weekend I had the pleasure of being a part of a short film Coquille, written and directed by Artem Repin and Nikolai Berger. The whole film centers around my character lounging about in a strangers bath tub, I can’t really tell you any more than that, but needless to say my hands were sufficiently pruny by the end of the day. It was such fun working with the team, and I can’t wait to see the finished product. Hopefully my fingers and toes won’t look too scary on camera.
Wear Softwear Photoshoot
Today I had the chance to work with Wear Softwear again, and be a part of their Spring/Summer 2021 clothing campaign. Not only are these clothes as soft as the name suggests, but they are also so well made and incredibly flattering on the body. Not to mention, the brand is also female run and owned and made completely sustainably in NY.
The new line is being released very soon, but until then take a peek at their Instagram for all the coziness inspo your heart could ever desire.
That's a Wrap on "Book of Names"
This past weekend we officially wrapped on our half theatre, half film production of Book of Names. It was truly an incredible experience to be making a piece of theater, inside of an actual theater, with a group of people during this very odd time for making art. It is an experience I will never forget, and will always be appreciative for. Not only was I able to lend a hand to my Alma Mater, but I was also able to be fulfilled as a theater artist for the first time in over a year.
Keep a lookout for a link to watch our filmed production of Book of Names, streaming on a computer near you very soon! But until then… click the button below for a sneak peek!
Capstan Music Video Shoot
This past weekend I was a part of an extremely cold and extremely cool shoot for a music video up in OId Orchard Beach, Maine. We were shooting the music video for the single “Shattered” as part of Capstan’s newest album release. The video follows my character through a long night of mishaps and mayhem as she stumbles around a small beach town in winter trying to get her bearings on life and on herself. We shot this whole thing over the course of two nights, and let me tell you everyone involved was an absolute BEAST. No matter how cold or how late it got everyone was so on top of things, and made these very long night shoots a ton of fun.
For now, the finished product is still under-wraps, but I will be sure to share it as soon as I am able to! For now, if you want to get a feel for Capstan’s music, click on the button below.
"A Good Time for a Bad Man" Podcast Presentation
I had the opportunity to lend my voice to the role of THE GIRL in A Good Time for a Bad Man written and directed by Mike Gioscia. It is a good old fashioned Western style, who-done-it film that will leave you guessing until the bitter end. It will be produced and distributed by Muddhouse Media as a podcast presentation.
More information to follow soon.
"Alex Getting Better" with Garden of Voices Podcast
I am so excited to announce that I will be portraying the role of JENNIE in the podcast adaptation of Alex Getting Better written by Audrey Lang, directed by Agus Cedraschi and produced by Rebecca Klein. "Book of Names" at GFA (my alma mater)
This Spring I have the great pleasure of returning to my high school alma mater, Greens Farms Academy, and act as both actor and mentor to the students there this semester during for their Spring musical.
And this isn’t just any old musical… It is with great pride that I can share that my good friend Jon Bauerfeld (who also attended Greens Farms Academy) wrote an astoundingly beautiful musical about the journey taken by hopeful American immigrants through Ellis Island. This poignant story is backed up with the most lyrically beautiful score with a haunting undertone that relays the desperation that these people were feeling in this moment in history.
Click the button below to find an article from the Greens Farms Academy newsletter detailing this process, and follow along with me here for updates on how you can watch the performance virtually!

We are so excited to release our website to the world and let you all in on some of the amazing things we have been creating.

That's a Wrap on "Ranch Water"
We have officially wrapped on Ranch Water film. What an incredibly special gift this film was, and to be able to be with an amazingly hardworking group of artists, on a secluded ranch in Texas with friends both new and old was the most welcome surprise of 2020. The ability to be creative on such a fulfilling scale was just what the doctor ordered during this very challenging year. Anyhow, that’s all for my mushy rant. I am just so thankful for these people and the time we were able to spend together making something so beautiful. I cannot wait for you to see this beautiful piece.
